A reportage “street photographer” since 1972, Flo Fox has shot over 120,000 images; subjects may vary, but ten towards the “ironic reality” in NYC. Her work has been published internationally, exhibited in iconic museums, and is a part of esteemed permanent collections She views photography as an inherent part of her existence as a single woman and artist in New York. Though visually impaired and physically challenged from Multiple sclerosis, she never goes anywhere without her camera. Totally disabled from the neck down, since 1999, she has to direct friends, attendants, or people in the street to capture the pictures on her behalf.
